- Soak a lemon-sized tamarind in water for 15-20 minutes, then extract the pulp.
- In a bowl, mix the strained tamarind pulp and tomato pulp.
- Add salt to taste and one tablespoon of Narchuvai’s Patti’s Rasam Podi. Mix well until combined.
